Tutorial: Getting Familiar with Video in Total Recorder

You can extend the functionality of Total Recorder considerably by installing Total Recorder's Video Add-on and using it to record and edit video files in AVI or WMV format, including AVI (Digital Video Type 1) and AVI (Digital Video Type 2) files obtained from a digital DV camera.

To record video with the Video Add-on version 7.0, you require the following:

  •   Total Recorder Professional or Developer Edition version 7.0, or later.
  •   DirectX version 9.0, or later. You can download the latest version of DirectX from the Microsoft website.
